From printed card to UPI payout in four steps
Here's what you do in Seller Center, and what your buyers see on their phone.
- Step 1
Create your cashback card
In Seller Center, open Cashback Cards and set up your offer. Each card gets its own QR code and claim link.
- Flat ₹ or % cashback, with your support number on the card
- Thermal 4×6, 4×5 or 3×2 inch, or A4 sheets with 4 or 8 cards
- A return window from 0 to 10 days, 7 days by default
- Step 2
Pack it with every order
Print the card on the printer you already use and place it inside the box. Buyers scan it with their phone camera.
- Works with thermal label printers and normal office printers
- Download the QR as a PNG to add to your own designs
- Watch scans and claims for every card in Reports
- Step 3
Check claims as they arrive
New claims appear on your Cashback Board with the order ID, marketplace, order amount and the buyer's UPI ID.
- Check the order in your marketplace or seller panel
- Repeat claims for the same order ID are blocked automatically
- Void or dispute anything that doesn't match
- Step 4
Pay once the return window closes
Claims wait in Cooling until the return window ends, then move to Ready. Pay the buyer by UPI and record the UTR.
- Returned or cancelled orders can be voided before you pay
- Every payout is saved with the UPI ID, UTR and date
- Buyers can get WhatsApp updates at each step
What your buyers see
Scanning your card opens a short claim form on their phone. It takes a couple of minutes, with no app to install.
Illustration. Your card's brand name and offer appear on the real form.
No app or login
The claim form opens in the phone's browser.
WhatsApp updates
Buyers hear when the claim is received, approved and paid.
Track any time
Buyers can check their claim status after submitting.
Every claim has a clear status
Your Cashback Board shows exactly where each claim is, so nothing is paid too early or forgotten.
New
Just submitted. Check the order and confirm it's genuine.
Cooling
Waiting out the return window you set on the card.
Ready
Return window closed. The claim is safe to pay.
Settled
Paid. The UPI ID and UTR are saved for your records.
Disputed
Voided or flagged: returned, cancelled or not genuine. No cashback is paid.
Why the return window matters: paying only after it closes means you never pay cashback on an order that comes back.
Run cashback the right way
A cashback card is a thank-you for buying. Keep it that way and it works for you, your buyers and the marketplaces you sell on.
Reward the purchase, never a review
Don't ask buyers to rate or review in return for cashback, and don't make cashback depend on a rating. That breaks marketplace rules and Indian consumer protection law.
Follow each marketplace's rules
Marketplaces set their own rules for package inserts, offers and buyer communication. Check them before adding cards to marketplace orders.
Be clear with buyers
Say how much cashback they'll get, what they need to submit and when it will be paid. No hidden conditions.
Pay every valid claim on time
Once the return window closes, pay genuine claims promptly. Buyers are trusting the promise on your card.
